So jockey AP McCoy was on Tommy Tiernan last night. No, we don’t think you understand. He was on Tommy Tiernan.
Comedian Tommy Tiernan has impressed a lot of people by displaying his more mature side on his chat show in recent weeks.
Issues such as travelers’ rights, transgender equality and drug abuse have all been discussed and Tiernan has been praised for his ability to ask the right questions and put his interviewees at ease.
Last night though, he showed us all that he’s still just a messer at heart as he insisted that one of Ireland’s greatest ever jockeys, AP McCoy, ride him around the studio like a horse.
