The Star Trek franchise is over 50 years old now and since it was first released it seems like it has divided the world’s population into two categories: One that are absolute experts in all things Enterprise and another that couldn’t tell a Klingon from a Kirk.
However, judging by the trailer for upcoming Netflix instalment Star Trek: Discovery even those who have previously despised the franchise may be tempted to watch.
Released on September 25, this little taster looks like it’s advertising a summer blockbuster movie rather than a streaming TV show.
The show serves as a prequel with events taking place 10 years before the events of Star Trek: The Original Series.
Even if you’re not a fan, you have to admit it looks pretty impressive.
