RTÉ has really been banging out the classic movies of late with tense thriller Captain Phillips getting a run last night and the likes of American Gangster and Argo being shown in recent weeks.
Tonight, they’re only going to do it again with 2014 biographical sports movie Foxcatcher starring Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo as a couple of brothers who happen to be Olympic wrestling champions.
Steve Carell puts in a star turn as a wealthy benefactor and both he and Ruffalo were nominated for best supporting actor at the 2014 Academy Awards.
If you haven’t seen the movie it’s well worth checking out and it airs tonight on RTÉ 2 at 9pm.
