Craggy Island Of Culture – Tickets For Tedfest 2020 Have Just Gone On Sale

Sarah Finnan

There’s no denying that Father Ted is an absolutely iconic piece of Irish television.

It taught us the difference between near and far away, showed us how to execute a peaceful protest successfully, and of course, reiterated that there’s always something to be said for another mass.

Not to mention it introduced us to Fr Dougal McGuire, the gift that keeps on giving.

Fellow Ted fans rejoice as tickets for Tedfest 2020 are now on sale. So, if you fancy a trip out to Craggy Island to celebrate all things, Ted, then read on.

Come February 2020, Inis Mór off the coast of Galway will transform into Craggy Island.

The official schedule of events has yet to be announced but if last year’s line-up is anything to go by, then we’re in for a whole lot of craic. All the old favourites are sure to return – namely the ever-popular Lovely Girls Competition.

Tickets cost €155 plus a €3.50 booking fee and include entry to all Tedfest venues and events, none of which are open to the general public. Festival-goers will also receive a list of accommodation (reserved exclusively for Tedfest attendees) and a PIN number needed for booking.

Pick up a ticket before you have to make any claims about money just resting in your account. Go on, go on, go on.
