The latest venture by baker Aisling Tuck, Naked Bakes is a new vegan cookie business that you’re gonna want to bump to the top of your must-try list.
Lockdown 1.0 saw many of us try our hands at baking. Sourdough, banana bread, homemade pizza… you name it, I more than likely gave it a go.
Motivation has slightly dwindled this time round though. These days, I’m less interested in the ‘do it yourself’ part as I am the ‘eating’ part which is why these new cook at home cookie dough rolls are right up my street.
If you love cookies, you’re gonna love this.
Completely plant-based, Naked Bakes is essentially a roll of ready to bake cookie dough.

Technically giving you the satisfaction of baking the cookies yourself, all the hard work has already been done for you and alls you gotta do is slice the dough up, pop it on a baking tray and throw it into the oven for a few minutes. Very hard to mess up, even if your kitchen track record isn’t all that enviable.
Each roll weighs 600g – which is enough to make six large or nine medium cookies – and comes complete with instructions and non-stick parchment paper too.
And in further good news, they’re available for home delivery all across Dublin as well as parts of Kildare, Wicklow and Meath.
To quote my good pal Cookie Monster: “Home is where heart is. Heart where cookie is. Math clear: home is cookie.”
