There’s a Japanese pop up coming to this Bray cafe next month

Fiona Frawley

Calling all ramen lovers!

Do you love Japanese food, vibey tunes and dining by the seaside? Then we may just have found the pop-up for you.

Bré’s first ramen food truck, Shoyu, set up camp near the Dart station last summer and saw foodies travelling from far and wide for a sampling of their Japanese inspired cuisine. Now they’re back with a bang, this time in pop-up form at Catalyst, one of Bray’s fave spots for a seafront flattie.

Catalyst just recently reopened their gorge indoor dining space, and this seems like the perfect way to celebrate the gradual return to normality. We have to mark it in some shape or form, in all fairness.

The pop-up is happening on Friday, October 1st and will showcase a tasty 3 course menu costing €35 per person. There’ll be plenty of veggie and vegan options and you can book your table now via Instagram on the Catalyst or Shoyu Bray Instagram pages. Move fast, we’d imagine they’ll book up fairly sharpish.
