They serve burgers all over the world and even though it is typically just a simple bap with some meat and a couple of toppings in the middle, they can vary massively in quality. Copenhagen has it’s own range of cracking burgers and we thought we’d put them in order and sort the very best ones into a list, so you can enjoy them one by one. We are drooling just sitting here looking at them. Washed down with a glass of coke, a milkshake or a nice cold beer you can’t go far wrong with any of these bad boys! Get stuck in!
10th. Grillen Nørrebro
Amazing simple burgers that are the perfect way to unwind at a weekend and will soak up any hangover that Copenhagen throws at you. Great little spot.
9th. Juicy Burger
The burgers here are insanely good and they come in unique flat bread and loaded with sauce and awesome toppings. Located in the Meatpacking District in Copenhagen it is owned by Danish TV chef Henrik Boserup.
8th. Sliders
As you can probably guess by the name of the restaurant this place is all about the mini burger made popular in America. Rather than one big one get three small burgers in different flavours. Epic.
7th. XO Burgers And Steaks
They pride themselves on the very freshest of ingredients here so the beef is organic, the dressings home made and crucially the bread made in house daily. You can tell how juicy this burger would be just by looking at the photo.
6th. Halifax
They were serving amazing burgers in here since way back in 2007 and they were so good they now have several spots around the city. Huge portions so make sure to arrive hungry.
5th. Sokkelund Cafe
This is a classic burger in every sense of the word. It is a traditional french cafe in style and they provide you with big white plates, proper cutlery and white napkins but just see how long you can go without picking it up with your hands.
4th. Originale Burgerrestaurant
Such a unique venue because you can grab one of their 10 burgers in the stripped back upper floor (try the chilli burger for a real kick) and then head down into the basement for an incredible drinking experience. The burgers and sides are both to die for.
3rd. Haché
Coming here is like a religious experience for anybody who loves burgers and they fully deserve to be top of the list. They have over 20 types of burgers here and pretty much every topping you want. If you do have room look out for the deep fried Mars bar for dessert!
2nd. MASH
An incredible steak house who are known for their wonderful meat and when it comes to burgers they don’t let the side down. Keep it simple with the cheeseburger and fries and wonder at how something so simple can taste so good.
1st. Cock’s & Cows
You really get the full dining experience when you visit any of their three locations from the amazing cocktails right through to the massive burgers that will leave you completely satisfied. Wonderful branding and amazing atmosphere.
