Oktoberfest is back with a bang and there’s plenty of spots where you can celebrate
Last year’s Oktoberfest celebrations would largely have been cancelled, so this year it’s time to celebrate twice as hard! There are a number of events happening all over the country so you’re bound to find something that suits you.
1. Custom House Square, Belfast
The Custom House Square in Belfast is hosting Oktoberfest events the whole way through October. They started last week and will continue on every Thursday-Saturday until the 23rd October. This is a pay at the door event. Check out more on their website here.

2. Fired Up, Dublin 14
This Dublin pizza place is celebrating Oktoberfest in style, all the way to the 31st October. Book a table here to avoid disappointment.

3. The Eden House, Dublin 16
From the 22nd-24th October, The Eden House Gastro Pub in Rathfarnham is celebrating Oktoberfest, with music from DJ Ben Murray, and lots of Bavarian food and drink of course. Get online to book a table.

4. Clayton Whites Hotel, Wexford
You’ll have to be quick to secure a ticket for this Oktoberfest event. The Clayton Whites hotel in Wexford is hosting events on the 23rd and 24th October, with shows beginning at 7pm and ending at 11pm. Check out more info on booking here.

5. Breeze Bar, Kildare

6. Mo Chara, Louth
This Sunday Mo Chara in Dundalk will host its first ever Oktoberfest event. They will be celebrating all things German with plenty of beer and pretzels. There will also be prizes for the best dressed. You can buy tickets through this link.

7. Bloom HQ, Laois
Bloom HQ celebrates Oktoberfest on the 16th October this year, with three breweries, live music, and a Q&A as well. They open from 2-7pm and you can buy tickets on Eventbrite.

8. Dead Centre Brewing, Athlone
Oktoberfest is returning to Dead Brewing Centre after 2 years. Tickets are €23.75 and you get a free DCB tankard glass, a free beer, and free pretzels on arrival. You can get tickets here.
