If you’ve been on the lookout for a weekend away with a difference, this might be just the thing for you.
You can now rent an entire double decker bus in Cork – and it fits up to seven people so it’s the perfect excuse to get all your mates together.
The quirky Airbnb in Cobh was converted from a vintage London bus and has all the mod cons you’d expect from a regular rental, including wifi and a TV in each of the two bedrooms.
The Lux Bus also has everything from electric heating to a coffee machine and a stove on board so you’ll feel right at home while you’re here.
It’s got its own garden with a table and chairs for those warmer days and if you’re looking to stay inside, they’ve even got a selection of books and board games as well as the two TVs to keep you entertained.
The Airbnb isn’t far from the centre of gorgeous Cobh for when you’re looking to explore the local area either – it’s a five minute drive or about a half an hour’s walk.
It fits up to seven people and will set you back just €60 a night so it’s an absolute steal when you divide the cost between the lot of you.
