PSA: There's a Rita's pizza pop-up now in Cork.
Dubliners will know the glory of a pizza from Rita's and now Cork folk will too as the rumours are true and Rita's has made its grand return to the Rebel County - in the form of a pizza pop-up at Crawford & Co.
Teasing the news on Instagram a couple of days ago, the team at Rita's wrote:
"For those in Cork who've been isolating from Rita's pizzas for years already, watch this space for an 021 number in the next few days!"
Pizza fans went crazy in the comments and staff have since caught us up to date on their new venture.
"Great to be back home in Cork and getting the chance to do a pop-up @crawfordandco_cork. Really taken aback by all the support we have gotten and the help we have received in helping to get this over the line. Big risk in setting up a new venture in this climate but we will give it a lash."

Great to be back home in Cork and getting the chance to do a pop up @crawfordandco_cork . Really taken a back by all the support we have gotten and the help we have received in helping getting this over the line. Big risk in setting up a new venture in this climate but we will give it a lash. Massive shout out to @jc.artdesign for all his hard work. Amazing guy to work with. Hopefully open this Saturday in Cork but that might be a push. Dublin opened today and all we can say is WOW. What a welcome back. Thanks again to everyone for all the messages and support. Love ye C & D 💪
And just in the nick of the time by the sounds of it because Cork is hungry for more. The team were hoping to be up and running yesterday but thought that it could be a bit of a push so best give them a call to confirm 100 per cent.
Now that's a pizza us.
