James Fenton

The Kino, an arthouse cinema on Cork’s Washington Street, is set to reopen as a live music venue.

The project is the work of Ed O’Leary and Joe Kelly of The Good Room, which is known for the Live At St. Luke’s gig series and It Takes A Village Festival. The news was announced via a post on The Kino’s Facebook page which states that it will be reopening as a ‘live music venue, theatre space, bar and café’.

The new set-up will launch in mid-September and the news is sure to be welcomed by live music fans in the Rebel City.
