Daniel O'Donnell

He may have had to take a break from touring but Daniel O’Donnell been anything but idle during lockdown, with himself and Majella proving to be a constant source of entertainment for housebound fans.

Poor Daniel O’Donnell had a bit of a mare a couple of months back when trying to set up his first live stream web chat. Learning that navigating the tightrope of video communication is a delicate art, it sounds like he’s managed to master the skill since then – announcing that he’ll perform his first-ever live stream gig later this year.

Taking to the stage at the Millennium Forum Theatre in Derry on November 1 at 7pm, the concert will be broadcast to fans all across the globe – of which there are plenty… wee Daniel is a bit of a national treasure, in case you didn’t know.

Stepping into the spotlight again (for the first time in several months), the singer will be joined by his beloved band – who have sadly been out of work since the onset of the pandemic. Due to perform a two-hour set, the gig is to celebrate the release of his upcoming self-titled album Daniel.

Tickets cost 20 quid and you can get yours here.
