Anything Dermot Kennedy puts out seems to turn to gold, and rightly so – the man’s vocals are out of this world. And his lyrics? Well, they’ d melt even the coldest of hearts.
Due to perform a gig at the Natural History Museum in London on July 30th, Dermot Kennedy will be joined by none other than Normal People star and fellow Irishman Paul Mescal. Busy practising ahead of the big day, he shared a clip of what fans suspect to be new music – sending the internet into overdrive at the prospect.
Posting the clip across all his social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram you name it), Dermot captioned it “Steady Rhythm Joy”… the name of the song we can only presume.

Quick to admit that the song brought tears to their eyes, it’s the falsetto moment that seems to really have gotten fans.
Oh sweet vunerable falsetto, genuine goosebumps! 🤗❤️😂🎶

Commending him for his always stellar vocals, many are hopeful that this will be on the setlist for his Some Summer Night gig this Tuesday. A pay-per-view event, tickets are still on sale and you can grab yours here.
