What a gap has been left in our Thursday nights since Derry Girls finished up series one on a high with the school talent show.
News that series two had already been commissioned came as a surprise to absolutely no one but it seems as though the Derry Girls (and the wee English fella) are back on our screens quicker than we expected.
They will take part in a special edition of Crystal Maze on Friday night.
The channel 4 game show will be home to: Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Erin and captain of the team for tonight), Jamie-Lee O’Donnell (Michelle), Louisa Harland (Orla), Nicola Coughlan (Clare) and Dylan Llewellyn (James) as they try and make their way through the maze successfully.
The Maze Master Richard Ayoade will be on hand to guide the team through the Aztec, Medieval, Futuristic and Industrial Zones in the hope of raising money for a charity of their choice…
So, wait… They’re all from Derry Girls? #CrystalMaze pic.twitter.com/u5r6WuYTuh
