President Higgins is currently on a jaunt to the Vatican City where he met with Pope Francis today.
As a token of his appreciation, and to highlight the need for action on climate change Michael D. gave the Holy Father what is described as a ‘climate bell’. Ya shouldn’t have, Mikey.

Higgins was accompanied by his wife Sabina on the trip and both appeared to be received quite warmly by their hosts.
