Pokemon was a staple of our childhoods, whether you were a fan of the game, the cards or the TV programme.

It was everywhere.

Its popularity hasn’t waned in recent years, and with this new addition, its number of Irish fans are bound to increase.

Twitter user John has shared these pics of a Pokemon game, complete with Irish phrases and slang such as “thanks a mill” and the more stereotypical “I’m a class Trainer”.

And we love it.

It’s only a matter of time before the Pokemon start talking about a big bag of cans with the ladz.
