Harriet the singing donkey has been getting plenty of attention from around the world after a video of her went viral earlier this week.
The donkey from Galway stole the hearts of thousands with her opera-like ‘singing’ and RTÉ was one of the many news channels who decided to get in on the action.
The broadcaster’s very own Teresa Mannion headed down to Connemara to delve a little deeper into the life of the viral sensation.
And in true Teresa Mannion form, her report is one of the best things we’ve seen in a while.
As one Twitter user summed it up, ‘I swear this is a deleted scene from Father Ted.’
From Teresa looking absolutely delighted to be in the company of Harriet to the donkey’s 15-year-old owner, Stephen McGrath, telling his story, it really is a sight to behold.
