The weekend is within touching distance which means that it’s almost time for our weekly sitdown with Graham Norton and his virtual guests on the Graham Norton Show.
Joining Graham on the show this week, he’ll chat to funnyman Steve Carell, Katy Perry, Dakota Johnson, Alan Carr and the always lovely John Legend (can you tell I’m a fan?).
Carell will pop on to presumably to discuss his latest project – Space Force – which is set to premiere later this month. A Netflix original, the series has Carell and Lisa Kudrow at its helm playing husband and wife duo Mr and Mrs Naird. Described as a “new kind of workplace comedy”, the stakes are sky-high and the ambitions even higher.
US pop star Katy Perry will also make an appearance to talk about her new single Daisies as well as her recent baby news. The singer announced earlier this month that she is expecting her first child with fiance and actor Orlando Bloom.
Other guests include Dakota Johnson of Fifty Shades of Grey fame. Starring in upcoming romantic comedy The High Note, she’ll chat about the movie ahead of its on-demand release next Friday. Starring alongside good company, the movie also features Diplo and Ice-Cube. Not forgetting UK comedian Alan Carr who will also pop on for a few laughs.
Music on the night will come from John Legend who will entertain viewers with his smooth-like-chocolate vocals straight from his own home. Here’s hoping his adorable kids Miles and Luna make a cameo as well.

Graham himself also made headlines this week as it was revealed that he’ll feature in Will Ferrell’s new film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Set to hit Netflix next month, Graham joins the likes of Pierce Brosnan and Rachel McAdams both of whom also star in the new flick. He’ll put on his acting shoes and step up to the plate as a Eurovision commentator – a role many would say he’s made for, given his experience as a well-seasoned chat show host.
Catch the Graham Norton Show tomorrow night.
