Have you ever found that when you go abroad, some of the shows you’re watching on Netflix disappear?
Well, the EU government have struck a deal that will allow us to watch our streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime like at home anywhere in the EU, as part of the Digital Single Market strategy.
The flipside of this is that it will probably allow us to watch the selections from every other EU country, who sometimes have a different movies and TV shows available.
For example, French Netflix has Friends, New Girl, Crazy Stupid Love and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
The full Council and Parliament still have to sign off on deal, but the proposal is expected to be finalised by March or April.
