Toy Story 4 Will Be Back On The Big Screen Next Year

Jen

Woody and the gang will be back on the big screen next year for Toy Story 4.

Disney made the announcement with a teaser trailer released earlier today.

It’s been eight years since Woody, Buzz and Jesse were saved from the furnace in Toy Story 3, but now the gang is back with a new owner called Bonnie. Fans will remember they were handed down to her in the last film.

There is no straight plot to the trailer, but it is a chance to see the gang back together; Woody and Buzz, Jessie, Slinky Dog, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Rex, Hamm, and one of the Little Green Men.

There is a new addition called Forky, who, according to the synopsis, will be central to the plot.

“Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”

Forky is voiced by Tony Hale of Arrested Development and Veep fame.

Toy Story 4 is due to be released in Irish and UK cinemas on 21st June 2019.
