From the minute the trailer dropped for this film, Irish people were excited to see it.
It came as no surprise that soon after its release, it became the biggest Irish movie of 2017 and one of the biggest home productions of all time.

That's right. Cardboard Gangsters has made its way to Netflix and is included in this month's newest releases.
If you haven't seen the movie before, you're in for a treat. And If you have seen it before, this is your chance to watch it again for the 11th time in the last 12 months.
Set in Darndale in north Dublin, the movie tells the story of small-time criminals aiming to achieve more money and power in the face of various financial and social problems.
The gritty move directed by Mark O'Connor and starring John Connors of Love/Hate fame has been described in the Irish Times as 'as close to a Dublin Boyz n the Hood as we could have hoped. It’s noisy, loud, violent and sad. Cult popularity beckons.'
It has started streaming already on Netflix so you can literally go from this article straight into the movie without further ado.
