Two Iconic Bands Have Been Announced For This Year’s Groove Festival

James Fenton

Anyone up for a trip to Bray this August?

The fifth annual Groove Festival is set to take place at Kilruddery House & Gardens on the weekend of August 19th and 20th.

The two headline acts have now been confirmed and it must be said that it looks like a stellar line-up.

Firstly, reggae legends UB40, featuring founding members Ali, Astro and Mickey are set to take to the stage at the seaside festival.

If that’s not enough to tempt you, the Brummie group will be joined by rockers Primal Scream in what’s set to be an unmissable weekend by the sea.

This year’s Groove Festival is set to feature 25 acts in total across the two days. The extended family-focused event will be home to a tantalising array of summer food as well as a number of child-friendly activities so there’s no need to book a babysitter for the weekend.

On top of all that, ‘Thrive’, a brand new wellness event will make its debut at this year’s festival. It will offer festival goers a unique series of yoga and fitness classes, workshops and inspirational talks from some of the world’s leading health, wellness and mindfulness professionals.

Already convinced? Early bird tickets priced at €49.50 go on sale this Friday March 3rd at GrooveFestival.ie. Children under 12 go free when booked online before Tuesday August 1st.
