Ryanair has shared their take on the viral Jerusalema challenge and it’s brought on a serious case of holiday blues.
The Jerusalem challenge has taken over the internet in recent weeks and unless you’ve been living under a rock (or sticking very strictly to your ‘no screen time’ rule), then you’re likely to have seen at least one or two by now.
Requiring participants to perform a routine to the song Jerusalema by South African DJ Master KG, everyone from the Gardaà to Dogs Trust Ireland has attempted the challenge and so it was only a matter of time before the likes of Ryanair followed suit too.
Putting their own spin on the now-viral dance, the airline enlisted the help of some of their crew. Starting out on an airport runway, the action then moves to the inside of the plane itself before flashing to a sandy beach somewhere sunny… and to say it made all sorts of nostalgic would be an understatement.
Adding that they “can’t wait to be back in the skies”, I think it’s fair to say that they’re not alone in that.
