Rumours of Irish influencer Safron Thompson entering the Love Island villa have been swirling for a while now.
Suspicions arose when the Dublin native posted a picture of herself at the airport with the caption “this year bout vacation, flight catching, train taking”.
Several of the comments seemed to hint that she was en route to South Africa to enter the villa, with rumours growing further after she was pictured posing in a hotel lobby with an address in Cape Town.
While social media sleuths went into overdrive, thinking that they had pieced the Love Island puzzle together, Safron maintained that she was “just on holidays” and wouldn’t be entering the villa anytime soon.
Nope I wish just on holidays ❤️ https://t.co/N63mYChcml

Fans were sceptical, unconvinced by her story but it appears that she was telling the truth if her latest Instagram post is anything to go by.
Posting a photo of herself at The Stella Theatre in Rathmines, she captioned the snap:
“date night @stellacinemas”.

There for a live podcast recording of The Good Glow by Georgie Crawford, the social media personality also posted a series of stories from The Stella throughout the night – seeming to put an end to the Love Island rumours once and for all.
