This cute new cafe has just opened in Cork

Fiona Frawley

Good news for the coffee lovers of Innishannon.

There’s a new spot to hit up for your morning flattie, and pick up some delicious pastries and a loaf of  speciality sourdough while you’re at it.

After a few months of mystery and an intrigue inducing “coming soon” sticker keeping the secrets of the new cafe hidden, Wildflour has opened its doors on Inishannon Main Street. Wildflour Bakery have actually been supplying bread, pastries and cakes to cafes and markets around Cork for the past couple of years, so if you’re curious about what kind of stuff they’ll be selling I highly recommend a stalk of their insta. There’s a serious amount of drool-worthy content, such as these cinnamon buns and espresso cacao twists:

Or if you’re more of a cake person, how dreamy do these stout cupcakes look?

At their new village home they’ll be pouring speciality coffee from Clonakilty-based roasters Stone Valley, and will be open from 7:30-3 Wednesday to Friday, 9-3 Saturday to Sunday. Definitely one to add to your Cafes of Cork list!
