A 21-year-old man was killed after his car struck a ditch in Co. Cork this morning.
The single vehicle collision occurred on the R577 near Kiskeam before 6am.
Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene where the man was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.
The road remains closed for examination.
