Cork’s Marina Market introduce The Plant Orphanage

Marina Market in Cork has the ideal spot for your Orphan Annie plant – and we’re sure there’ll be no Mrs Hannigans at this orphanage.

If your New Year’s resolution was to become a plant parent, and, as with most resolutions, you’re failing, don’t worry. No matter our best intentions, plants can become a little bit too much to handle sometimes. They can get too big for our space, or become too much hassle to take care of. Well, lucky for Cork locals, the Marina Market Plant Orphanage is just the place for your ferns and yuccas in need of a new home.

Marina Market wants to take care of the plants that you can’t anymore at their new orphanage. You can drop them off yourself, at the plant photographed above across from Oak Fire Pizza and Toasted. Any questions you can direct towards the Marina Market staff and they will provide their expert assistance.

If your plant is too large to transport, you can also organise for them to be collected.

Trust us, the best gift you can give your neglected plant is a new home. They will get all the love and attention they need to thrive at Marina Market.
