We've absolutely loved following Patrick Dempsey's adventures around Ireland.

Since he arrived at the start of the summer to film Disenchanted, we haven't been able to get enough of his wholesome tourist dad vibes. He's been hiking, visiting castles and sampling local chippers, and it really is the content we need at the moment. As he wraps up his time in Ireland, we're reflecting on some of our favourite things he's gotten up to. Read on, you might even find a bit of inspo for your next staycay.

1. Befriending Irish wolfhounds

We're weeping with the cuteness.

2. The Wild Atlantic "Highway"

'Tis just the Wild Atlantic Way Pat but we'll allow it because you're one of our favourite tourists ever.

3. Chips at Leo Burdocks

Sure he could hardly visit Dublin without sampling those crispy bits at the bottom of the bag. Iconic.

4. A visit to Trinity

In an attempt to catch a glimpse of Connell and Marianne, no doubt.

5. A visit to an Irish knitting studio

This one really is too sweet. McDreamy picked up an Inis Meáin jumper in Dublin and after falling in love with it, got in touch with the knitting studio and paid them a visit. Swipe across for the cutest group photo you ever did see.

If you haven't already, go on a deep dive of his insta to see the rest of his trip, which included visits to Glendalough, the Cliffs of Moher, Bray Head and loads more. We'll miss you McDreamy, don't be a stranger.
