If you’ve ever wondered what way Alf Stewart would want the All Ireland Final to go, you now have your answer.
Pics of one Summer Bay’s most beloved heart throbs proudly sporting the green and red of Mayo emerged this week, and we’re thinking this could be the thing to finally break the Mayo curse.
And it’s not just the main man Alf kitted out ahead of the All-Ireland, they’ve got pretty much the entire cast shouting for the Maritime county including Irene Roberts and Jonny Palmer.
The pictures from Sarah McHugh were shared on the Green and Red of Mayo Facebook page over the weekend, racking up over 11,000 likes and nearly 5,000 comments. The positive response compelled the Facebook page authors to ask the question most GAA fans hear in their nightmares this time of year – any tickets to be had for Sarah?
The group commented:
Absolutely amazing response to this post folks thanks so much , all the credit goes to Sarah McHugh for getting the photos and like us all she is looking for a ticket but if you can help her out guys please do …. and finally thanks to the home and away cast , brilliant stuff.
We’re hoping Sarah makes her way to Croker this Saturday. It’s a much closer trip than Summer Bay, but in many ways far less attainable. Fingers crossed for her getting a ticket, and for Alf to stone the flamin’ crows in the fields of Mayo one day in the not too distant future.
