As the darker nights and wintery conditions start to set in, it’s important to look to the future.

And I’m happy to confirm, the future’s looking significantly brighter than it was this time last year.

If you’ve already started mentally compiling your festival list for 2022, Wild Roots in Sligo have just announced their lineup and gals, she’s a juicy one. Just looking it I can picture the warm cans, camping chairs and absolute buzz of getting your group together to see your favourite act. It’s what summer is all about, let’s be honest with ourselves.

James Morrison and Kaiser Chiefs take the headline spots (the thought of belting out Ruby Ruby Ruby Rubaaaay in a field has me giddy), with Razorlight and King Kong Company in the mix too. There’s also a rake of amazing Irish DJs scheduled, with plenty of stand up too from the likes of Joanne McNally, Dave McSavage and so many more. As well as music and comedy there’s an Adventure Land (!) with rock climbing, archery, yoga and flying trapeze. If that’s not your bag, take to the sea with kayaking, wild west sailing or a tour on the Rose of Inisfree Boat. Talk about something for everyone.

No doubt these tickets will absolutely fly out so get your trusty group of festival huns together and get booking HERE.
