It’s been seven hours and fifteen days since Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee announced this series would be the last.
It hasn’t been easy to come to terms with. Where will we turn to now for double denim style inspo, or to see Tommy Tiernan be ripped a new one by his father in law? It’ll be hard living in a world without the gals, but at least we have season 3 to look forward to.

It’s giving us Robin Williams in the restaurant scene of Mrs Doubtfire and we’re here for it.
Basically, we can’t wait for season 3 and will spend every moment between now and then lapping up any Insta hints and Twitter updates we catch sight of. How else does one pass the time, in fairness?
