WATCH: There’s A HUGE Hemp Farm In Meath… And You’ll Be Able To Visit It

Sarah

Happy feckin’ Sunday folks – this video of a hemp plot in Meath will make your day.

Yep, there’s a jungle-like farm on Ireland’s east coast, growing hemp, a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species that’s commonly used for clothing materials and animal bedding.

Dublin Hemp Museum visited the luscious green crop, where some plants reach as high as 15 metres, grown by a farmer who is one of only 12 or so people licensed in Ireland to grow the controversial plant.

And the tropical plants looks straight outta The Island when Leo and his mates discover the huuuuuuge cannabis crop…

The owners of Dublin Hemp Museum wrote on their blog that Glyn, the hemp farmer, currently has an acre of crops but hopes to increase his output, with plans to turn his farm into an open farm for the public to visit.

Always wanted to run through a field of swaying leaves with the scent of herbal goodness in the air? Stay tuned…
