There’s a deadly vintage pop up coming to Marina Market this month

Fiona Frawley

Who doesn’t love a good aul rummage through some vintage bits?

Paired with a Guji coffee and a feed from one of the market’s stunning selection of food stalls, it can’t be bet. While online vintage shopping had a serious moment over lockdown there’s nothing like the real thing, and you’ll be able to enjoy it at Marina Market between now and the end of October. A great day for the parish, really.

If you’re into your Irish vintage you might have already heard of 35mm, who have their own permanent store in Kiltimagh, Mayo which is always artfully stocked with iconic fleeces, denim and more. Now they’ll be bringing some of their best bits down south to the rebel county, and if you’ve been looking to nab yourself some one of a kind vintage for this season now’s your chance. There’s nothing like the feeling of saying “oh, it’s vintage” when someone asks you where you got your outfit. Smugness levels through the roof, lads.

35mm will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Marina Market. If you’re wondering where to go for lunch after shopping til you drop, have a gander at our fave stalls and food trucks HERE.
